Landlife, formed in 1975, works for a better environment by creating new opportunities for wildflowers and wildlife and encouraging people to enjoy them.

Landlife utilises an approach known as creative conservation to find flexible, cost effective ways to establish new areas for wildflowers, which people can enjoy.

In the face of climate change and continuing habitat decline, new thinking and practice in conservation are more urgent than ever. Linking innovation with heritage can bring wider benefits and improve practical techniques for landscape.

To support their work and provide a sustainable source of plants and seeds, Landlife grows native British seed and plants for sale in the UK through their trading company Landlife Wildflowers, based at the centre.
