Meadow

Just like its real-life inspiration, meadow grows… new life, colour and beauty from what seemed at first to be just waste. Where a real meadow often begins its life on “waste” ground, our meadow has brought new life to “waste” plastic that may otherwise have ended up slowly rotting on a landfill site.

meadow is the result of an exciting partnership between Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, the National Wildflower Centre, Liverpool Culture Company and Liverpool City Council.

The aims of meadow are to highlight issues around litter, waste reduction and recycling through creative engagement.
