A beautiful native perenial growing in grassland and meadows.

The deep yellow flowers are grouped on upright stalks growing from rosettes of crinkled leaves. Cowslips are a good nectar source for butterflies and bees.

Flowers: Apr - May
Good for: Bees and butterflies. Food source for the caterpillars of the Duke of Burgundy Fritillary.
