Nettle Leaved Bellflower Plants (Campanula trachelium)

A tall, unbranched native perennial common across England. It is a plant of hedgerows and woodlands, also known as Bats in the Belfry due to the stamens looking like bats hung the bell of a church steeple. This beautiful plant flourishes with bell shaped flowers that are lilac in colour.

Prefers: Partial shade on moist soils
Flowers: July - September
