Perennial. Commonly known as Ladys Smock, Mayflower or Milkmaids. Was thought to be sacred to the fairies in folklore, and bringing it indoors was deemed to be very unlucky. Young leaves can be used as a substitute for cress due to their peppery taste.
Height: 22 - 25cm
Prefers: Damp grasslands and river/stream banks.
