Muscari Bulbs
Muscari can provide an absolute feast of nectar for bees and butterflies in March and April, before most wildflower species have begun to flower. Muscari covers the ground and fills any bare space with swathes of attractive blue flowers that will return year after year. Muscari is particularly beneficial to the Hairy-Footed Flower Bee, which is active from February to June.
The Armeniacum muscari, with its rich cobalt blue hue, is among the most prevalent and favoured varieties. As time progresses, these flowers will multipy, creating a stunning carpet of enduring blue blossoms in the early spring season.
