A beautiful native perennial wild flower plant growing in grassland and meadows. The deep yellow flowers are grouped on upright stalks growing from rosettes of crinkled leaves. Cowslip wild flower plants are a good nectar source for butterflies and bees. Cowslips are the food plants of the caterpillars of the Duke of Burgundy Fritillary.
